Completed three extra months before practicum/internship began and three months after practicum/Internship ended, working under Dr. Carol J. Schneider and specializing in counseling head injured clientele. I utilized transpersonal theory, relaxation techniques, art, movement, dream therapy, equine assisted psychotherapy and equine assisted learning in therapy sessions along with more traditional methods and testing procedures and found these to be a remarkable tool with this type of clientele. This came to an additional 720 hours of direct experience beyond the practicum/internship. |
